S8 Instant Key Mapping (Pads)

Covering both Deck A & B > With 2 options.

Option 1. Will adjust the key while the track is playing by selecting any pad
Option 2. You will have to select a hotcue and then pressing any pad will not only adjust the key as above but will select the hotcue every time.

Note: Pads are coloured blue with the 5th Pad denoting default key. Top Pads are +1, +2, +3 and +5. Bottom pads are reset, -1, -2 and -3

(Just the way I have set for my use. I am playing a little further and will create a 3 page bank option at some point.

To enter the mode, (Hot cue will always flash so you know you are in one of the modes - I have a LED reset issue)

Shift and Hot Cue > To enter

Option 1 - HotCue Mode - This will take you into the Cue Mode. All pads will flash (if track playing) and is now waiting for you to select a hotcue. Once a pad (cue point) is selected you can then select keys. The cue point (pad) you selected will flash to remind you. Pad 5 is coloured different and this is a note to reset. Any pad press will jump to the cue point selected and alter the key (as above). If no hot cue point is stored, the 1st press will create it.

Option 2 - Free Key Play - After 1st Shift and Hot Cue (all flashing) > If you press hotcue again (no shift) you will then be in free key mode. (No Hot Cue)

To exit, Shift and Hot Cue Again.

Should all make sense and it does need a little refining, but i cant get it to fault.
