I have had my S88 for just a pinch over a year now and have had pretty good luck with it.
However, I have the right display that has become washed out and now seems to have some pretty harsh screen burn-in. Seems like this is fairly common from reading here and various other web sites.

As I see, there are many posts about the displays, though I don't see many resolutions other then sending the device in.

Is there any work that can be done to correct the issue? Is there a display replacement that can be ordered? Since the US has only a 1yr warranty and the EU has 2, I am out of that window here.

    What are people doing?

    Thanks!

I am having the same issue but with the Left Display-- I also noticed that there have been other posts on this but no public messages on how to solve the issues.
    Thanks!

Best thing would be to contact NI support and see what they have to say. Chances are it's a hardware fault especially if you leave the keyboard powered on for long periods or never switch it off.

Can anyone comment on how support works? First I filled out the Hardware Support web info which indicated that i would be getting an email with further instructions-- two attempts and still no email from NI.

Second question -- do they have repair facilities in US?

    Thanks!

Hey ChicagoBob, you didn't get any email at all ? Do you have at least a ticket number I could check ?
You used this typeform, right ?

hi. Thanks for the response. I took the typeform again and got 2299860 as a ticket number. Actually as I looked at my screens again the left is really bad but the right is also not right.
    Thanks Jeremey

I have got in contact. They. I would be without my main board for a while. Find it odd.
Since it is out of warranty anyway here in the US, is it possible to just get the screen(s) and replace it?
And, if not, why? There is nothing else wrong with the board and would rather stick with it if possible.

    Hey Scott,
Since I am not from the hardware team and since you are already in contact with my colleagues from the hardware department please ask them.

Not any issue anymore. The re-seller will take care of the issue and will take care of the issue beyond the warranty period. :)
