S88 mk1 single key too much velocity

    i managed to pickup a second hand S88 mk1...
    and after trying it out
    i have set the key sensitivity to Hard 3
    i have one key that comes in way too strong... the velocity seems out of whack with all the other notes
    how do i adjust the sensitivity of only one key??
    is it possible to do?

    You need to open it up, and clean the contacts on the velocity membrane. There are videos on youtube on how to do this.. a Qtip and some Alcohol.
    Not too hard to do if you are comfortable opening up the keyboard.. The Graphite contacts pick up dirt and grim over time.. and the timing gets thrown out of whack, as there are 2 contacts for each key, and its the time difference which determines the velocity.
