S88 Mk2 Templates Getting Lost

I've seen a bunch of posts about people having issues with their S-series keyboards losing the MIDI templates, but haven't seen any fixes here. It was happening to me even few weeks - I'd have to go in and reset the sustain pedal mapping, and I could live with that, but recently I've started making more use of the buttons and knobs, and they only seem to "stick" for a few days - even though my sustain pedal mapping is sticking for longer! Even the name of the template is resetting to the default of "Template 1".

I'm up to date with updates (including firmware on my keyboard) and have tried all the troubleshooting steps in the other posts, but it makes no difference. I'm running on a 2019 iMac on Mojave.

Any suggestions on how to finally resolve this?

Hmm, that sounds somewhat annoying. I must admit it always makes me nervous when i'm setting up many controls and yet seemingly have no way of actually saving them down to a file so that i can back them up. Maybe someone here could point us towards a prefs file for KK that stores these settings so that we can back them up?

UPDATE: I've been trying to see if there's any pattern to when I lose my profile, and I think I've figured it out! If I shutdown my Mac before I turn off my S88, I lose the profile every time. If I turn off the keyboard first, and THEN power down my Mac, it stays.

Similarly, I need to wait until my Mac has fully booted before powering up the S88 to be sure that the profile stays.

I've also setup a keyboard shortcut (using Alfred) that copies the settings file from a backup, then starts Komplete Kontrol for me to re-apply it, so it's less of an issue than when I first experienced it.
