I just finished making a banger. I am going in on here. I must admit it took me a minute to get out of the MPC1000 JJOS mindframe and wrap my head around Maschine. Now the thought of making my sh#t sound like it's on an MPC or an SP1200 has my @ss doing cartwheels. NI pissed me off waiting for 1.1 but now that it's here I think the people that used the mpc can be patient but man I seriously want that 1.5 public beta. I am in the box so all that midi stuff doesn't really apply to me. I am thinking of getting either a Andromedia or a V-Synth GT though just to have a bad @ss synth on deck. I have too much equipment as it is but I'm a gear junkie. With everything going software it seems we all wait for updates lol. I would like to see what they are actually planning for Maschine 2.0. I would like to see them do what Beat Thang does but I doubt they do something like that. I am very happy I went with Maschine vs. BPM though. I like the arp in BPM but that can't compete with the hands on controller. 1.5 will body BPM I imagine.

getting a good hardware gear is always a good idea IMHO. those are much less flexible and comfortable to use than software... but still - much, much more inspirational (gear junkies unite)!

besides - it's not possible to mimic such a monstrous analog synth like Andromeda with any software solution. I am messing with that beauty almost everyday, it sounds just unbelievable!

V-Synth, however, is nothing unique when compared to VSTis like Alchemy, Absynth and surely Omnisphere. it's pure fun to use (i got V-Synth XT racked, love the modulation possibilities) but i think it's nothing crucial.
