Please, help! After a long experience with all the possible causes, after learning how to avoid'em and playing successfully a line of 4-6-hour non-stop sets - the problem is back. The difference is: MacOS 10.5.5 installed!

is it the main reason? Should I downgrade to 10.5.0 again? Is the famous 10.5.2 sound problem is taken care of in latest updates or shouyld we all stick with 10.5.0 on our MacBooks?

I am having a huge party tomorrow and will not have any analog backup CD players around, so, please, heeeelp!

MBP 2.16 Mhz, 2 gb RAM, Tr ME 3.3, OS 10.5.5

    No, which is what?

Actually, I did a trick with Apple-explained new aggregated device creation - and it worked. Soo - this time I saved myself again:)

But It's good to know all the possible solutions, so - clock set to outputs means what?:)

If you created the new aggregated device, set the clock to the outputs of the BCD. ;)
