    I have no idea, ask herw - he had that in his version... possibly just to demonstrate that it is more accurate and finer precision than an event version.

    FWIW, my approach might not work properly at extremes without testing and fettling. If the negative numbers I used to beat the dupFilter divide down to be close enough to each other that they round to the same value, it will fail... Easy to fix though.
