sample deck volume

hey guys, i have 2 question regarding tp2.

so im using it for the first time, have created a 8 bar loop then dragged it onto the sample deck below just to have a go at it but there no volume coming from it, ive played with the folume and filter knob but had no effect, after reading the manual it says it comes through in silent mode, how do u change this?

also with tp2 not scratch how do i go about using the timecodes to control through my cdjs and is it possible to do a 4 deck mix not including the sample decks?

When you drop a loop down into the Sampleslot it usually plays in loop and gets muted on default.

You first need to unmute it before you can hear the Sample.
The Volume Knob is not working while its muted.

Basically.. You may switch every of the maximum 4 Decks into a Sampledeck, a Timecode Deck or a normal Deck. But 4 is the maximum. When you want to play in a 4 Deck Mode you logically have Sampledeck anymore.

 

You can't. You need scratch version to use timecodes.

so 4 is the maximum, is there any way of having 2 decks controlled by my cdjs and 2 decks controlled internally? or would i have to have all 4 controlled internally bypassin the cdjs?

i have an x1 i can use to control when i figure out how to use it lol

 

so far i know.. Clicking A-B-C-D and selecting its dropdown menu may select the Form of the Deck (Normal Deck - Timecode Deck - Sampledeck )
