In keeping with the Maschine way, I would love to see a sample-edit style mode for Patterns with pattern-oriented functions:

    • "slicing" by bars/beats e.g., create new Pattern from each bar
    • "normalize" i.e., batch fix velocities according to definable parameters (perhaps with humanizing capacity)
    • "truncate" e.g., take bars 3-5 from an 8 bar Pattern
    • "append" to add other Patterns to the end
    • "silence" to remove part of Pattern
    • "reverse" note order
    • "timestretch" e.g., double, halve time
    • "pitchshift" to transpose and fit to different keys/scales
    • "fade in/out" to create fades from note velocities
    • "duplicate" to repeat the selected section

Probably others too and some of which have been suggested separately anyway.

This could be found on the second page of note event edit or as a Pattern sub-mode.

I could have sworn I'd already posted this suggested here, but couldn't find it anywhere, so here it is again, all fresh and new (even though it's years old).

    + 1 million.
The day these features are added I'll pop a bottle of Dom Perignon.

This would be awesome. I do these things a ton of times manually.

Glad this got bumped. I'd really love to see something like this and it seems to me that it would very much fit with "The Maschine Way".
