    Hello fellow Maschinist:
I have found myself doing performance like sessions with Maschine as I reconstruct songs that I have sampled. Now that I have gotten the swing of slicing and no longer have to depend on the slicer automatically finding parts me I'm hitting those kicks, snares, cymbals, chords, rolls and vocals just the way I want. I understand how to scroll through the various pages of chops and when using my keyboard can run through the whole range of notes. JAM helps to extend my pads during playback so I don't have to scale up and down my Oxygen 25 mini keyboard. the only challenge that remains is remembering exactly where that chop is located. it would be awesome if maschine could color code a slice Once I've got it, then it's off to the "Remix Races"! I'm doing Arab Muzik type performances reconstructing the songs, rearranging the drums and all the music attached to them. It's absolute magic and a hell of a lot of fun. Not to mention the new creation you come away with when you're done. This weekend I will post some chopped tunes and hopefully post a vid of the sample process and the reconstruction of the song. Maybe somewhere down the line we can have a "Samplers Chop Up Thread" an exchange of same songs chopped differently. Kinda of like Cheffing a sample! Anyone interested?

It is what it is but to me the mix sounds a little weaK? I'm not trying to say there is anything wrong with it but the kick seems a little wrong on the EQ side for what this is, and the snare seems like it just don't stand it's own ground. But hey, I'm going deaf to this genre because I listen to many artist in it. One of my favorites is Haywyre but his always has lot's of change ups and the mix is always well mastered. Keep on Keeping on!...

    Thanks V!
As a musical hobbyist I've always found pleasure in just composing beats/tracks. The more time I spend in producing and making songs the more I've come to appreciate the importance of sound quality. I've just begun to take my music serious. I have done a few shows and a video or two but never thought of it as more than just a hobby. I have come to respect my talents alot more over the years and Maschine has had a lot to do with that. Now with an audience to provide feedback I will really step up my game! You have no idea what your comments mean to me. It's been a lifelong dream to make music that I can play outside of my house!
I haven't shared the best of my work because the volume is so great. I will take my time and be mindful in what I share to garner a proper response. Thanks again. The best is yet to come!

    Thanks VV
tbh, I was excited for the chops and really didn't focus on the drums. They were the canvas for the samples. Should I reach out to Haywyre? Do you think he may responsive to give feedback?

I Think if he's not touring, he might send some helpful info your way, but I mean he's already had International success in the EDM space, watch some of his **** on you tube and more importantly listen to the mix. He is a very proficient keyboard player and producer. Love his remake of Criminal mind on the pop side and some of his more lengthy stuff on the electronic side. Never hurts to try, that's how I've gotten to play and record with some real great artists.

Killer start, the sub bass is kicking just right. Don't care for the voice tone on the rap. Not familiar with loopmasters, please educate me.

    Thank you brother!
A little encouragement can bring on tons of motivation and even more creation!
I'm still learning how to manipulate vocals so pardon the sloppiness. I actually got tired truncating, slicing and making patterns for each bar. Its apparent towards the end of the mixes.

As for Loopmasters, They are a reasonable and reliable resource for kits and loops of many genres. You can get multiple downloads for a very fair price and they have incentives. I've used them for about 6 months and have never had a problem. They have provided me with the rap vocals. When I don't have the time to develop rhymes, riffs or melodies, they are my go to sample packs.
Those along with NI Expansions has made my sound library somewhat of a musical arsenal.
I don't believe they are much of a secret and am actually surprised you're not familiar but then again, you are a real musician who would have little use for such things.

Thank you again! I look forward to sharpening up my skills and sounds very quickly!

    Cheerz!

Beats and music samples are me.
Vocals that are out of tune and some instrument riffa are loopmasters. Kool that you can't tell the difference huh?

Loopmasters is the epotime of online sample retailing, if you ask me. You have to be really careful what you purchase from that website. Some stuff is decent, but a lot is just recycled regurgitated sample packs that someone and their mother has used at one time or another. And sounds.com really isn't much different, just content is all sourced or backed by NI. Me, I personally love this Radio plugin by Plugin Boutique. Link here . I picked this thing up for $15 and its great for just finding random s**t on the random interweb of radio s**t.... i personally love spontaneity when it comes to sampling.....
