Sampler in Kontakt 6

    I dl'ed the kontakt free starter to start learning about Kontakt before buying Kontakt 6. One of my goals is to make ambient sound wav samples to use in composing. After reading what I can about Kontakt 6, I'm still not sure if there is a sampler in the software. My budjet is tight and I'd like to know before the sale price is over. Not a deep issue, just a learning point, thanks

    Yes the full version is a sampler, and a mighty one, i want add. That's the purpose of kontakt.

    Absolutely, kontakt is, in my opinion, one of the best samplers. But it is complex, you also have great FX in it, and if you need more you can script.
