Sampling / Loop player

In the manual it says

I don't know what is meant by "Enable Input on all Sounds." Can somebody please explain this?

Also, in a new project, when I record a new sample, it's played back at the wrong pitch. Where do I fix this?

So, if my initial investigation is correct there is NOT a way to enable sound/select source on the hardware, correct?

ie- you must do it on the software with the mouse for the sound(s)?

I also wondered, did we ever come up with a solution for setting sampling default back to "oneshot" versus "ASDR" or is there any way to change that in the soft/hardware? I haven't been able to find a way. Unfortunate.

 

yes you can:

Hardware
1. Select an empty Sound by pressing its Pad.

2. Press Button 5 to select the Source tab (SRC).

3. Press Shift and Browse. By using Buttons 5 & 6 or Knob 5 you can select either Sampler, Input or MIDI Out.

didn't know it defaulted to asdr! Is that only when you're sampling into maschine?

I usually load all my samples from the browser library instead of sampling into maschine, and...my samples still default to oneshot.

Not hard to change, but it would be cool to let us choose the default or something.

 

The ASDR mode is default for sampling in. It makes the looper trick... Well... Tricky.
