Save beatgrid in mp3?

What to do when moving mp3's from one computer to another? Is it some files in the documents library that holds the key to the beatgrids?

 

The information is written to the mp3 file as meta data if i remember correctly.
After moving the files and importing them back into traktor all the files should have the beat grids still 'attached' to them.

Do a small test with a few files to check first HTH

 

I have transferred mp3s from one pc to another and had the grids written to the track. The only thing that is not done is the analyzing of the track.

 

Correct, but in order to write the data you have to right-click each track and select "Write Data" (or "Write Metadata"...can't remember). Otherwise the track info will only be saved to Traktor's TKS file and not to the individual tracks.

 

T pro writes the tags automatically... but in T3 you're right, there you had to do the writing manually!

 

are the cues and markers saved as well and thus could they be read and used in T3.4 too?

 

no backwards compatibility!

T3 cues etc. show up in TP, but not vice versa.
