    Hello,
I have to ask a basic question... I like save my work all the time.
But there is no "Save" button or menu item for a Multi, only "Save As". On my Mac it doesn't remember the filename so i have to type it in or click on the right file in the Save As dialog and then select 'Replace' in the next dialog... I screwed up once and overwrote the wrong file before in a late night session.

'Save As' is clearly different than Save. Konkakt is so insanely advanced, so vast and impressive. I just can't believe it doesn't have a Save Multi button.. Am i crazy?

Perhaps you are inside Instrument Edit mode. Scroll to the top of the instrument, then click the sprocket icon in the upper left corner. That should get you out of Instrument Edit mode, then you can go to the File menu and choose Save Multi.

(You can't choose Save Multi from inside an instrument since that doesn't make sense.)

Thanks for the Reply. I'm looking at the Multi view and i don't see a Save option... Strange.. Here's a screen shot of my file menu.

It's right there. "Save multi as" or "save as default multi" is what you are looking for.

    I hope this helps.

Thx for the reply, what i'm looking for is just "Save" that will save the multi without asking me for the filename and warning about replacing a file. Almost all desktop software provides both Save and Save As, kontakt should too.

With multi you cant do it in kontakt. Only with NKI patches you can save(Without the dialog window popping up asking where to save it)
