one way to solve this already today would be to "hardcode" all your custom effect parameters for the cool FX you have in mind in either keyboard or midi commands using the "direct" assignment method and numeric values and then to assign them to one single key/button. Now - at the push of that "magic" button - all effect settings will be "remembered" (=actually executed as specified in the TSI)

but i agree: an ability to save named settings and to recall a previously stored setting for a FX when loading it into a FX unit would be more clean and nicer.

the snapshot button (camera) saves the current setting. so ATM you can save one setting per FX, but unfortunately not more.

    workaround as described by rudi.

There is one slight problem with the workaround: If you select the FX and set the FX settings with one macro/button, you need to press the key/button twice. This results from the order the commands are executed:
    - Traktor always first exectues the Effect Param-commands
    - and jsut then the FX select

So when you press the mapped key/button for the first time, the parameter of the currently selected FX are changed and not those of the FX you want to use

    but could be worse,
i set up my FX-units to be used in 10 different ways.
the left one is always "advanced" and the right one always "chained".
the keys on my keyboard Q, W, E, R, T change the advanced FX-unit to different effects (reverb, delay, phaser ...) set the effect to "on" and the amount to my desired level.
the Z U, I, O, P - keys change the chiained FX-unit to different chains, and activate them as well as setting the amount.
i always have to push the key twice, but you get used to it,
and after doing it for several times, you don`t even think about it anymore.
that way i have all my fav. FX-settings at my fingertips, without even touching the mouse.
and my midi-controller is set up to change the parameters of the 3 knobs each .
i can deactivate each of the fx in the chain, and also choose wich deck will have wich fx-unit (1/2) from the controller also.
so, besides reaching to my keyboard for a (double)-push to select the fx,
my hands aalways are on my mixer/midi-controller, (xone:92/1d).
    the flow feels good.
