I'm having some issues with trying to add a "sound" to my Maschine's library.

Id like to save a sound so that it shows up in my library as such, but so far I've not had any luck to get it showing up in my library as a "sound' instead of as a sample.

I followed the instructions in the manual in section 4.4 but the resulting sound does not show up in Maschine's library as a "sound". I saved it into the folder labeled "sounds" in the Maschine's 'documents' folder in my user area on the macbook.

I thought I did the tagging correctly (clicked on 'instruments', 'bass' and 'digital', but apparently this was not enough. What could I be doing wrong?

I did a search on this topic before I posted it but found nothing. It might be a hard one to search for.

    Anyone?

did you tag the Sound after you saved it?

you need to find it in the Browser... click on the Sound Icon, but don't highlight any Bank, Type or Subtype. Instead type in the name.

when you have found it, you will be able to Edit it in the Browser, and add Tags including new ones. when you have finished click Apply.

this just worked for me as i tagged a previously untagged User Sound.

Thank you - I'll try that and report back how it goes.

    That worked - many thanks!

It would be awesome if the tagging could be done during the save process somehow.

    glad that it works :)

and your suggestion makes sense, seeing as that is how it works in Kore2.
