saving sounds question

    If I sample something, and truncate, I still see it on the computer in my sample list.
    So, I'm assuming to get the truncated sound to come up, I save it as a sound on the computer. That's fine and dandy, but how do I tag it so I can find it on the hardware later? I only see the sample list with the untruncated sample. I can't seem to figure out if it's possible to tag a saved sound of my own.
