You can turn the emails off in settings , alert preferences .
People in this forum should use the ignore feature more and maybe stop using it like Facebook

No man that's not me. I'm grown and would not waste time to create a fake account. The one prior I had to this was another one. That account was attached to an old email. Couldn't access it because I deleted that back up email account to that of an old NI user name. I contacted all mods and NI employees about this right away.

I stand by excitement for maschinen jam by posting videos, and saying what I like about it. I'm taking a break from the forum, but will come back for a showcase when Jonas post it.

Something seems off about this. Despite you trying to some clean, why would you ever need multiple forum accounts in the first place ? That just seems odd to me as if someone is trying to create deception of their true "internet" identity.

I also find it very odd that some brand new user who just signed up for the forum today (Oct 6, 2016) would dislike nearly all of my posts in this thread. That seems very unusual. I smell a rat.

I know it's not you ,that's what I said in my post. Don't feel you have to take a break from this forum because of others.

wow that's funny: skins disliked my comment asking how much longer until we get Song Layer. NI said we would get Song Layer, but skins doesn't want it? or skins doesn't like people asking about when NI will deliver the unfinished piece of their software? oh, and then he posts a comment "Song layer ready...." what the h*ll is that supposed to mean? it's not ready, otherwise i would've downloaded it & would be using it with my Jam already.

I highly doubt skinsnyc or whatever his name is you skins, though I do think he is parodying you.

I don't fully understand why you need to let us know when you are leaving and coming back? Maybe Munchhausen syndrome? (kidding)

I hardly agree with anything you say but it is a simple button click for me to mute you, I think you are a NI troll... that being said you should be able to still be here on the forum. You are harmless and you've improved.

    Hi Justin

I believe NI actually email you your Maschine Software Serial Number and download link to get your Maschine 2.5 Software so you can install it.

I installed my Maschine Software a few years ago via the included software disc supplied with my controller and only have their Service Centre installed so don't know for sure but from what I read it isnt yet supported/installed via "native access". It is installed/updated via download with an installer then updated via service centre (Someone please correct me if I am wrong as I only have service centre installed at the mo and not Native Access).

From what others have posted it seems the emails from NI dont always come through straight away so keep an eye out in your emails for one.

I dont have the Jam myself (but am thinking of getting one) but have seen other post relating to this so hopefully you should get an email from NI soon.

Maybe someone who has recently installed Maschine with their new Jam for the first time could post to let everyone know as it seems to be confusing some users or better still NI actually let their end user know how to obtain and install their software correctly (would be the best idea ;))

It's just that repeated complaints add nothing to the discussion. NI said they're working on it but don't have a date to share, and everyone here already knows that. We also know they're slow.

You could go complain in the thread dedicated to Song Layer, but instead you're doing it here because you want people to validate your anger at NI and join in with you.

It's tiresome, selfish, and manipulative which is why you were downvoted.

Maschine did everything promised when you bought it. Quit being a baby.

Firstly the idea that you know why a person is downvoting is ridiculous, unless you are actually that person.

You are also totally ignoring the fact that the person who downvoted is in fact a troll pretending to be Skins, you would have known if you followed even the most recent posts of this thread carefully. As I said... I've have reported this user account and hope this account gets banned. So that totally invalidates most of your comments.

I agree about sticking to topic. However Jam is completely tied in with song mode/functionality and the software, so I'm afraid you are just going to have to take the rough with the smooth...

I'm all for hearing positive stuff about Jam from a technical and workflow discussion, esp on how it improves their workflow with other controllers, rather than hear this Jam "woo hoo" nonsense. I actually like the idea of Jam myself but until they sort out the software, I regard it as a doorstop. Sorry about that, but that's just my opinion and I'm allowed to express it (I hope). It's also pretty easy to demonstrate the fact this statement is entirely untrue "Maschine did everything promised when you bought it."...but it's probably far better that you brush up on what is written in the forums, I realise you've only done 32 posts here so maybe you can be forgiven about not seeing what the real discussion is about.

The "quit crying like a baby" BS will get you nowhere I'm afraid... as is calling people who post here "tiresome, selfish, and manipulative". I would comment more about what you said but I'd rather not fan the flames of the fire you are attempting to start.

Call me fancy, but all I could envision was a strip of screen down the side that would should the actual piano roll notes so you wouldn't have to look at the computer screen .

Speaking of computer screens, it would be extra sweet if there was an option in the arranger section to auto size to show all the notes in the pattern. I think this is a very reasonable request from a workflow point of view?
