No, you cannot unbundle products to sell them individually. The KS11 and Maschine software licenses will be attached to the Jam hardware.

Ok , that is sad . I have the KK S88 and Komplete Ultimate 11 and I don´t need that licence .

I read that people that already owns the maschine software they have expansions for free and what about the people that owns komplete ultimate software ?

I am out for maschine jam , I will buy push 2 or I will wait for push 3

    Thank you for your answer

The offer only encompasses existing Maschine owners, not Komplete. These are two different product lines, and NI did not create a crossgrade path for existing Komplete owners to go to Jam.

    Yes I understand but I don´t like that .
I can´t see these different product lines when you can integrate all the native hardware and software in the same enviroment .
The only product line that I can see is Native products that works together 100 % between them . It is ok If native thinks that we are in a different line product but then my feelings right now is go for push

You cant sell the software that comes with a $400 controller so you're buying an $800 controller instead?

Yes , maybe it is because push 2 it is more similar to : studio + jam and that is not 400 $ .
You can find push 2 in the second market for much less than 800 $ , I own ableton too

...true, but I'm not sure, what means NI might have to prevent such sales. Already I saw two offers for just the Maschine software + KS11 AND two expansions - interesting combination, go figure! :)o_O People are creative and/or shady (depends from which point one views it) - I afraid, soon the forums might see a wave of "2nd hand" licences from people trying to sell the bundled software to fund their Jam purchase...

I don't think I have seen a handful of people who actually hate Jam, which is hard to believe considering how new it is. I do however see a fair amount of people seriously disgruntled over the perceived slight by NI, new gear and no push to fix old functionality etc.. rehashed over and over again. Like I have said in other threads. I would love a Jam but have chosen to vote with my money or lack there of.

Hate...:Dthat shows that you don't understand what's going on . It's like Apple huh ? Produkts are gone be a religion and has nothing to do with reality anymore .Not Buying gear with knowing unfinished software / comes later with an update has nothing to do with Hate . But hey ... keep moving .

At least I like you .With your love to the company and your $$$ maybe i get the coming update a little faster . After that i see it's a good invest in a full working Jam . But in this time ..You know what is more cool than buy Jam ? Buy A second one .. ;)

I think I will get jam. Although I own studio and thought there is no need for it since it does the same functions,I realized now how the workflow is different. I realized that after trying to figuare arrangment today which require activating more then one pattern at same time to see if it fits. I tried to do it without creating scenes. Because when creating scenes trying to switch scenes and patterns and mute parts with remove, so then need to restart the song and by the time I get it right , I already lost the idea I had for the drop or break.I kinda get lost in the process. I was thinking about getting push 2 instead but after trying the workflow in ableton, I think I preferred the maschine.

I'm currently a Push user, but I'm looking at the Jam as an alternative and later a supplement to a Komplete Kontrol keyboard - mainly for instrument browsing and parameter manipulation. Obviously having the Maschine sound library is big benefit as well.

Can anybody tell me if Jam can color map instruments like: Drumlab, West Africa, Cuba etc?

I also would like to know when a white version of the Jam might be forthcoming?

I actually prefer buttons to pads, but some kind of easy to use velocity level setting on the Jam is a must.
(such as a velocity matrix as in Live/Push 9.7 and touch strips under the notes in piano roll mode)

I would wait and see if they actually add song mode and how well it works with Studio, it could possibly fix you're dilemma.
