I noticed that there isn’t a beta section for the Jam in the beta testers forum @ centercode. I think NI has lost interest on the Jam all together. R.I.P Jam.

NI probably liked the Jam back when they thought they'd be able to record their performances, or "jams," with it

 

I know it's a tad unsporting of me, but couldn't resist as I think it's more than a little unsporting to state a feature is coming then not deliver. I do love my Jam, it's a great addition to the Maschine workflow, but as with all aspects of Maschine, KK etc, it has so much untapped potential.

Jam is the first NI device I sold... wasted potential.

 

It was always gonna be that way...
I could tell from a mile off that with Jam they sensed an opportunity for a quick buck, but didn't really know where they were going with it.
If they'd tried to sell it to current maschine users at a discount, things might have been different.
If they'd made good on song mode in a timely manner, things might have been different. If they'd made a way to use Jam and Maschine together in a less clunky way, then things might have been different. But trusting them at that point seemed risky to me.
They'd just started communicating with users again, and seemed to be moving forward, then they dropped this and the reason for the communication became clear and they promptly started ignoring us, and our long standing requests once again...
