Scratch Duo 2/Audio 6 USB problem close to returning it!

Hi people,

I got the above last week, installed etc and have so far not ever got it to work at all.

Problem is with the USB driver as the soundcard flashes.

The USB driver installs, says it's installed ok, then in device manager it has a yellow triangle against the Traktor USB saying file corrupted,

I have looked for hours on these forums and can't find an answer.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled USB driver about 20 times.

I have uinstallled the whole program and all files, cleaned registry, reinstalled via the demo version as disk would not work and still nothing.

Have now spent about 10 hours on this and have had enough and have wasted so far £200 on something i can't use.

Anyone have any ideas? Have asked if i can send it back for a refund and have sent Native an email but nothing yet.

Have widows vista sp2
3GB Ram
2.2gz intel celeron
E Machines E525

Really want to make sure i have exhusted all avenues before i sent it back.

what exact traktor version? since 2.5.0, visa isnt supported anymore.

i have Traktor 2.5.1 installed as per the update.

There was no mention that it does not support Vista anywhere, am confused!

So what can i do to get this working?

Also how can in uninstall the 2.5.1 update?

Need to be 100% sure this will work as i was supposed to be sending it back today.

Am suprised Vista is not supported, no mention on the box or anywhere else!.

I do have windows 7 to install if that is going to help.

But, how can i uninstall v2.5.1 and just use v2.0.

you dont need to uninstall 2.5.1, you can just run the 2.x.x exe you want to run from the backup folder in your programs folder.

 

C'mon. Vista sucks! Get Windows 7!

 

2.2 intel celeron? not to be rude or anything but that right there might be an issue, celerons are ancient by today standards
