scratch problem

hi i just updated from the demo version to scratch pro 2 and i am having a problem to use the scratch mode to use the turntables as controllers on the demo version i didnt had any problems,i tried to go on preferences /decks/platter/ and activate but i they are locked on mini and cant change the setting can some one help me please

 

What sound card are you using.

 

I am having this exact same problem. I am using the S4 with a Mac laptop. I have a ticket # with support but no answer from them yet.

if you have an insurmountable problem it might be necessary to contact support

if you could tell us in great detail exactly what your problem is, what hardware you are using, including your exact version of Traktor and what computer / OS etc you have then we may be able to help.

just saying 'a Mac laptop' is woefully inadequate

 

i use windows 7 32 bit
intel i7
1.7ghz
4 gb ram
i am using traktor scratch pro 2
with audio 10 sound card
allen and heath xone 92
and turntables vestax pdx 2000

my problems is that when i had the demo version i was able to scratch with the turntables but when i activated the product i cant use the turntables because i cant find the scratch setting and i even tried to change from preferences /deck/platter scope/ but i cant change the setting its logged to mini

 

Hello starjak

Have you tried clicking on the letter (A or B) on you traktor deck and selected scratch control. Also if you double click on the header (top of the deck) you can change the size of your decks.

The only thing I can think of if you haven't done this already is to check if you A10 is being picked up by your os and traktor and then maybe run the setup wizard again.

I would even go as far as reinstalling traktor.

 

Finally got it to work. In the help bar, i had to hit "upgrade" (even tho I had already registered TSP2 before) I inputed the serial number again & then it recognized the scratch in the setup wizard.

hi thanks for the hints but still with the problem the computer is being picked up my with the os and i tried to upgrade with the same serial number and i uninstalled and installed it again but with the same problem i will email them hope that they will reply

That's not Traktor Scratch Pro man :lol: It's only Traktor Pro.

i went today from the seller that i bought the things a changed every thing because he thought that the offer of the x1 was with scratch pro 2 that was my prob
