Scratching / iTunes integration

I am considering buying Traktor, and have two - hopefully simple - questions:

1. If I control Traktor with a USB controller (eg Numark Omni Control), will I be able to scratch tunes?

2. I categorise my songs in iTunes by genre and use the star "rating" system to give an indication of their energy levels. I also add reminder notes to some songs. Will these be visible from within Traktor?

I use the behringer bcd3000 and can scratch with it as there are midi controlls already mapped out for my controller.

unsure if traktor has built in midi funcions for the omni control. if not, you can download them or map yourself, its not to tricky.

traktor 3 has an itunes link in its browser, once clicked, it will access your itunes musoc library and pull through playlists and tracks etc.

I use itunes to manage all my albums and playlists and found traktor mimics them perfectly, although as i orgonise all my tracks into numbered albuns and sort by key, i have never noticed if it pulls through your ratings/comments.
