SCS 3M users verdict please

I got bitten by daScratch bug ( taking my time brought great results,) and considering the SCS 3M. i am particularly interested how it works with and without daRouter (I am not fan of it, because of lack of editing option) and perhaps if anyone tried it with other apps then TP, like Live for example.

 

I have 2, as well as 2 3Ds. I love it with traktor, and yes, it has "intelligent" firmware that let's you run without DaRouter. Definetily worth purchasing.

Yep I enjoy mine as well. I used it along with the 1.2 beta of Traktor at a club Sat night. They only had a Rane rotary without the EQ, so I used the 3M for EQ'ing and filters. Worked great!

 

I'm using my 3M alongside a traditional mixer in VDJ 6 with timecode. I use the 3m to CF video, and it is perfect for this. I just sit it on top of the mixer for doing video (the multi-touch CF had really found it's home in video scratching), and then move it aside when just playing music. I also use the buttons on the 3m for cues and loops in VDJ.

 

what is CF?

LOL, maybe because of FCP, somehow stuck together with word video put me on wrong association track- might be subconscious hoping for some new VJ software that actually works and done professional way.
