Well i have a few ideas, and ive searched the threads for similar ideas without any luck so here goes.

First of all what im getting more certain of every day is that i want some sort of edit feature on the browsersection for the harddrives, usb sticks and memory.

As of now i only have as follows

    1. Track Collection
    2. Playlists
    3. Explorer
    4. Audio Recordings
    5. Itunes ?
    6. History

Now what i want is the feature to EDIT everything i see fit

For example, the Drivetrees, if i add Hardware, the drives just say C:, E:, F:

If your in any way a dj that spinn several genres in one evening, you wanna seclude trax / genres from eachother, and run from different partitions, Club, Party, House, Rnb and so forth.

So if i add my stuff i have it could look something like this,

    (////) = Subfolders

    Partition 1 = Party////
    Partition 2 = Rock / Pop////
    Partition 3 = Club / House////
    Partition 4 = Top 40////

It would really help me in searching my music, if the headlines in the tree would say the same as my harddrives, im only using my internal drives, so the labels would be constant, there would be minimal change.

Im of the opinion that less is more, so the less i see in the browser would help me getting a more streamlined and functional system.

Sidenote, im not even close to use itunes, so a feature to get rid of that stuff as well would be MUCH appreciated. What you don't know or see won't bother U to much.

    Next item!

Back in the day when Alchatech launched, they used the system to the fullest, you could DJ mp3, ogg, wav and cd, direct from the internal drives, just like on a regular Denon D2000. NOW, how come you don't have that feature on Traktor 2 Pro?

Now why you wanna spin cds on traktor you may ask, and im not talking about timecode, but TP2 with regular PC / Mac cd/dvd Drives and a controller.

If your a dj spinning in clubvenues you would be content with your average top40, beatport, dance charts and really see no point in this feature, but in many cases with djs working for many many years that accumilated thousands of vinyl / cds, this would help, say for instance that your system/musicdrive would crash, you can run a 32/64 gbs system usb stick with tractor2pro and a couple of cds and save the evening. Not every venue or club have CD/DVD/Mediaplayers to spare if something goes wrong. Traktor as a bestseller, is helping wipeing out cd hardware alltogether.

It would be a nice feature if possible, ive tried hooking up my drives to T2P, but it tells me some bull about DRM, even on my early 90s cd without any protection whatsoever.

Better to have a feature and not use it than to want one and not have it!

    Cheers
