Seek help understanding routing tabs

    Hi. Just moved up to Reaktor 5.5 and am working out what I need to do in the routing setup.

    Could someone please explain to me what are the Reaktor Virtual Input and Virtual Output in the midi routing tab? The manuals don't seem to talk about this.

    Also, what's the difference between regular 'output', digital output and line output (well, I get the line one :)) in the routing tab?

    My take is that the virtual MIDI ins & outs are so you can route MIDI between other software and Reaktor in standalone mode without needing to have any hardware MIDI ports.

    AFAIK the audio outputs will depend on what audio interface you have.
