The default value is 0. Then i change it to +0.5 or +1.
Then i connect it to a selector. The output is +0.5 or +1 .
If i connect something that has values less than 0.
Like -0.5 or -1. The output should be -0.5 or -1.
If i multiply the signal before selector by 2.
    -1.5 = 0.5 . -2 = 0. And same goes positive values higher than +1.
This is not clipping. This is wrapping = Inverting values higher than -1 and +1.
The middle value is always 0. Only values higher than 0 can be multiplied how much you want. I call this wrap distortion. The amplitude should not increase the more you amplify the signal before wrapping selector. Use a limiter afterwards if needed. And add a highpass filter for removing dc offset. This FX is good for monophonic sine wave. Then if the final sound is too treble. Use 2-pole lowpass filter.

    This is for my synth.
I hate pop or click when pressing the cpu power button back and forth.
