Selling Traktor Pro license after Traktor Scratch Pro upgrade?

I've searched the forum and been all over NI's site but I haven't found much info on this.

I currently own a Traktor Pro license and I'd like to upgrade to Traktor Scratch Pro. Once I upgrade to TSP, I'd like to sell my Traktor Pro key.

For this to happen without any issues, does it matter how I purchase Traktor Scratch Pro? Do I have to purchase the crossgrade from NI for $559? Or can I purchase it in a retail store?

Can I sell my Pro license regardless, no matter how I purchase it? Or are there specific steps I have to follow for this to go smoothly?

I emailed them but I thought I'd see if anyone here has done it.. Plus, a search shows that NI isn't the quickest in answering questions like this. If at all.

 

If you upgraded from TP to TSP, then the two licences are linked. If you sell your TP licence, you'll have to fill in a formular and sent it to NI so that the licence is transferred to the new owner. They may check that your TSP is an upgraded licenced one.
You can't sell your TSP upgrade licence to someone who doesn't have TP. The upgrade licence would not be valid.
You CAN sell your TP licence, it will be valid for the new owner but your TSP upgrade licence would not be valid anymore.
I'm saying this on a legal point of view.
I may be technically wrong though

Dude you will not get an Official answer on registration issues on the Forum.

Only Registration Support can advise on these matters and they will only do it personally to you as all issues are different.

It can easily take 2 *business* days for them to reply. I have always gotten an answer; if you ask on the weekend, you might not get an answer before Tuesday.
Also, the important part is to use an e-mail address that is active and allows you to read messages that are flagged as spam.

This will be for the crossgrade pack, not the upgrade pack.

Can you sell your bought and paid for Traktor Pro license after buying the crossgrade pack, which appears to come with an unlinked separate license. The only stipulation is that you own Traktor Pro at the time of purchase.

How did you go with asking support?
