Send 14-bit tempo adjust MIDI message

Traktor has been able to receive 14-bit pitch bend messages for years, but when I add an out for Tempo Adjust it's only 7-bit. That's 0.25% increments on ±16% Please make it more accurate.

 

To the best of my knowledge, Traktor can receive 14 bit MIDI messages without problems. I successfully had 14-bit MIDI running with my VCI-100 SE controller, giving me higher accuracy on the pitch fader.

Make sure that your controller (more, specifically, its firmware) supports 14-bit MIDI.

 

As my first sentence said it can receive 14-bit, it just doesn't send 14-bit when you add a MIDI Out for Tempo Adjust under Controller Manager. The MIDI Range at the bottom is only from 0 to 127 (7-bit). When you want to create a custom display with the tempo on it that's just not enough.

Not described, I've later improved this again to have 10x more accuracy on the very first 10% of the track seek, using 10x more 7-bit messages
quite complex, but it works like a charm
