Send each sample into its own midi channel?

Hi

I m used to Battery as beat designer. In its scenario I create a midi track in Cubase and route Batery as the instrument on this track.

Then I write a midi file in this drum track with all instruments at this same midi file: kick, snare, hats, tons etc..

Inside Battery I can set each of these instruments into separated midi channels so I can edit (compress, eq, etc) each one as I need.

What happens is that the midi is in Cubase but it triggers the Battery drum kit. And battery as a vst intrument enables me several midi channels.


How can I achieve this same method with maschine?

Obs: so far I ve done as the videos say, but when I drag and drop the midi files, it opens several midi tracks, an in each of these tracks I receive only one instrument midi file (let s say kick at track 1, snare at 2, etc). I only need to send the sound at different channels but I d like to keep the midi as one only file....
