I am using Reaktor as a plugin and I want to use a sequencer in Reaktor.

I want the Reaktor seqencer to start playing at the beginning of bar '16' but every time I press play in Logic, it starts playing automatically from the beginning..

Is there a way of controlling where I want it to play??

in the 1990s, if you were using a sequencer like a drum machine and you didn't want it to start until bar 16, you programmed in a pattern where nothing happened. yep, a silent pattern.

that is still the best solution for your problem, just use Logic to send a programme change, which will change the snapshot number. so create a snap where nothing is triggered, save that and get Logic to play that snap and then change for your pattern at bar 16.

I know how to make a program change in logic but how do I get Logic to correspond a program change with Reaktor??

Sorry i'll just edit this a bit..

Okay, I know that under properties you have the program information but how do I get it to relate to the different sequences in Reaktor

    Cheers

Think of Reaktor snaps as presets

Use programme change in Logic to change snaps. so in Logic, programme change 1 would select snap 1 in Reaktor (i think).

in another post you mentioned waveweaver. the different sequences are chosen by the "Scene" knob. change the knob so that there are no sequences running. and save that as a new snap.

    Hello again,

You right, I acually did it by selecting scene propoties and enabeling Active Midi In and then imputing the number 1 into 'cont/note'. This assigned controller 'Expression' with the scene.

Now I can whatever scene I want snap at any time!

Theres only one more little problem..

Everytime I start and stop play back my sequence in Waveweaver starts at different points no matter if I press the reset button or not..

Is there a way of starting the sequence at the start with Logic?

the reset is broken in waveweaver... but you can fix it.

control click on the reset, so that you bring up the dialogue, choose "show in structure". you will then see that the Start/Stop module is not lit up...this is the problem. to fix it, click on the Adder and make it Mono. this will fix it and the lights will go on.

PS, Wavweaver is actually quite an old ensemble and the clock construction is a bit eccentric, meaning it might not always behave as you would expect, but the above fix does make it restart.
