when people talk this way it detracts from real issues. it’s also rude and unappreciative. i’ve got 5 kids — 3 under 7 — and it’s so familiar. i usually just tune then out. i mean who wants to design software and offer support to a bunch of unappreciative complainers?! trolls.
let’s save this space for critical and constructive feedback. we make the community we want to have and every negative dig on NI or Serato or etc and every positive comment creates the future of DJing tools and features.

Nobody is complaining for no reason..
If you want to stick your head under the sand and pretend everything is fine go ahead.. But don't except other to do the same!

If you are fine with a couple of buf fixes and some colors in the past year and half good for you. I'm still waiting for a substantial update. Retina screen support, redesigned scalable UI, smarter music managent, XDJ 1000 MK2 support..

It's a lot easier to agree than make an argument with someone is it?

Fortunately there are places where people can be free to express their opinion..

What..? I've been making arguments and discussing Traktor in the most minute detail for a decade... A DECADE.
Has your opinion been suppressed on this forum once? No, it hasn't.
I have corrected your none-factual statements but not once have you been silenced.

What I have learned about you is that you will argue Monday is Tuesday and you simply do not listen to anything anyone (certainly not me) says if it is in disagreement to you.

The guy in that video could have said all that he stated in 2 minutes rather than 15mins, yeah I watched it.
He said nothing that hasn't been said on here a 100 time and yeah that's pretty crappy - but it's been said it's never been suppressed.

I dunno man, I just don't know where you're coming from.

Karlos, if I didn't care about Traktor I wouldn't be wasting my time to post here. I'm just very frustrated with NI for the lack of communication and slow Traktor development in general. Let's forget for a minute the big features everybody want to see in the next version of Traktor. Let's concentrate on the small things a lot of people asked. Like the XDJ 1000 MK2 support. NI had 1,5 year and to do something about it but they didn't.. How on earth do you want to me to be positive when the other two Major players in the industry are releasing major and minor updates on frequent basis? I want to see the bright side of things but I'm sorry.. until NI show some actual evidence that the next generation of Traktor is coming I won't be changing my mind

Traktor’s focus can be seen by its features. the Step Sequencer is cool if your focisnis the same. Remix Decks. Stems. broad MIDI integration. Ableton Link.
i bought a Serato/MCX8000 for moble. that’s Serato’s focus. I tired VDJ and probably would have gone with it if it weren’t another $300 and have such an ugly GUI. you Windozers probably wouldn’t care, but the GUI is very important to me.
if Traktor has flex grids and SoindSwitch integration, i wouldn’t have bought Serato/MCX800. already almost paid it off with gig deposits for this Summer. looking forward to Disco theme party with my SoundSwitch. DMX control.
the MCX8000 also has 2 extra mic channels instead of stealing them from the 4 Deck channels and now Engine Prime for no laptop gigs. i still prefer my S8, but i’m not whining because technology isn’t moving fast enough. i mean you have to be an ignorant young punk to not realize how fast technology updates. the idea that you can even buy something and have features continually added after sale for free is so modern.. to EXPECT it is silly. to think you
can give business advice from the outside also silly. does any ‘DJ’ here think NI or any of these companies have not consider their options and the market and their future?
i thought the beta test program that was used in the 2.10 and 2.11 updates was remarkably smart and transparent and quick to market. do i want to test alpha versions?! no! some of you guys sound like a spouse at home complaining about how you’re always at work, working to pay for the kitchen remodel you want. you’ll never be happy.
