Seriously Aggravating Won't-Record Kontakt Issue

    I'm into my second day trying get this figured out. I'm trying to record a Drum Track through Kontakt 5, and I know for a fact my track is set up properly according to two different tutorial sources. I have an Instrument track showing:
    Kontakt 5 1-1 as the instrument
    Kontakt 5 as the Insert
    No Input / Analog 1-2 in the output

    In Record mode I get a strong signal, but when I try and actually record, the meter bounces with each note, but nothing actually records. No notes show up in the track.

    What could possibly be doing this?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Which DAW host are you using? That's what'll need to be set up to record the audio output by Kontakt.

    But do you need to? If you have the MIDI you can always send it through Kontakt at any time to recreate the audio.

    ive been trying to do a very similar thing i want to route out studio drummer into my DAW which is ableton live through kontakt. ive set up the kontakt mixer correctly as i can see and hear the signal going though it but i cant get it to route out to individual serperate tracks in ableton its quite frustrating.
