Seriously, how do you get hardware support?

I didn't want my first post to be a rant, but I just bought a new A61 less than a week ago and the upper register keys make this horrible squeak/honk sound. I submitted a ticket via online hardware support 4 days ago and haven't heard a peep. The retailer I purchased from said they aren't allowed to take returns per their agreement with NI, but they gave me a toll free number. I called that and was referred to another number that only accepts calls 4 hours a day. I finally get to that number and there's no option for hardware support. Am I missing something, or is their customer service really firewalled off so that there is no real time interaction with customers??? If that's the way it is I guess I will wait and try to be patient, but it's not a very good method for customer service.

Are you in the UK or EU? Did you but it online? How long have you had it?

I live in the states and ordered and received it last week.

I literally just received an email from support 5 minutes ago with a return plan. I have to ship it back to them and they are going to either repair or replace. The whole ordeal is going to take probably a couple weeks which stinks but at least they responded so I am happy.

I apologize to the forum for being a (insert random word that would probably be censored here) I am not usually a negative person. Anyhoo, onward and upward

    Cheers,
