Service Center caught in update loop

    I started Service Center today and it detected a newer version of itself, so I let it update as always, but now every time I start it it goes through the same thing, as if it doesn't realize it has updated (version number is given as 1.2.2.3 (1.1.0.11). It can keep this up indefinitely unless I hit Cancel, although the update process often does not get up to 100% before saying "finished;restart", but even if it does, it's the same thing. Once I cancel, it appears to run OK, but it keeps doing this. Same thing if I uninstall SC completely and install the newest download version.
    I am nervous about my upcoming install. Anyone else getting this, or know how to fix it?

    Yep, same thing happens to me - endless loop. I have also the 1.2.2.3 version.

    I also got that loop thing. Don't know why, don't know where it may lead to...

    Until now, I always chose "cancel" without getting any unwanted side effects. Maybe there will be an update that stops it.

    Moderators, any comments?

    I just checked my laptop. Same version SC; on first check for connection it goes through the update thing, every time, but not when it restarts, as the desktop does. Tolerable, until the next real update, I suppose. I wonder if anyone who has been experiencing this issue with SC has had to authorize anything, and if it went OK?

    Same problem here. I think I had to authorize a reinstall and it went smoothly.

    I LOVE this company's products, but I HATE their "support" (if I can call what I've received so far "support"). I've had this same problem -- and I can't get an answer as to why my install of the update from Komplete 4 to Komplete 5 is missing the DXis for Guitar Rig 3 and Kontakt 3, and also missing the VST for Guitar Rig 3! Anybody else had this same problem?

    By the way, the Bosendorfer 290 in Akoustic Piano is OUTSTANDING! Now if they could only get someone PROACTIVE in charge of their Support group...
