    hi ni-team,

since a long time i have a problem with the service center.
it doesn't remember the downloaded files so they appear everytime i open the service center even if i enable that i don't what to see downloaded files. it is really annoying & unclear.

& everytime appears that komplete3's guitar rig is not activated & it isn't activated indifferent what i do.

    recommendation:
i don't see the option to mark files as downloaded without downloading - for example i don't want to download a spanish manual, that it disappears the next time.
i think this would be very useful.

    thanx for processing

    Service Center Issues

Why is it that while I have the most up to date version of Service Center and, although I have the box checked that says to not display the files I've already downloaded (and have already installed), these same files keep displaying? It makes it extremely difficult to know what updates have already been installed.

I e-mailed tech support a week ago, and still no answer. Am I the only one having this problem? (Not the lack of response from tech support. I know I'm not the only one having that problem).

    Cheers

    service center b.s.

yeah, i emailed them and got a response back telling me to install the files they were sending - but nothing was attached - but im pretty sure he was giving the the uninstall/install flash player. i did that anyway - didn't work. do they not think that i would have tried all that before going through the hassle of trying to contact them for tech support? i've heard the horror stories but was ready to give the benefit of the doubt. whatever.. i tried a couple different things that i saw suggested in the forums.. ran windoctor, didn't work. backed up to external hd, wiped laptop hd, reinstalled SC, didn't work. uninstalled anything related to NI, re-installed SC, didnt work. i'm angry. what motive do you have to pay NI for their product rather than someone else other than the service and support they claim they will provide? im giving that some long hard thought and hoping that someone at NI will give a crap enough to actually address this. i'm not some techie wizkid, im a consumer. i may not be the most innovative in my use of these products, but i purchased these products with the expectation that i would at least be able to open them up and have a chance to be good or bad at using them. instead im learning how to wipe and reinstall a hd!
