Service Center Now does Installs...and it's VERY slow

Hello, I just noticed that Service Center allows not only downloads, but installs the updates too. This seems somewhat new to me (sometime in 2013?), because since The Great Flood I've been manually installing my updates from the downloaded zip files.

Normally I would love this for the convenience except that the install process seems exceedingly slow, some installers require prompts (forcing me to be present, sitting here with major boredom), and there is no "Install Everything" or multi-install options.

My download and install partitions are all local, and my system is very fast (hex core CPU and 64 GB memory). Any thoughts? Any successes/failures to report using SC to do the installs?

I have noticed the same thing....it is slow. But I am usually in not that much of a hurry. I'd rather it install slow and right rathar than fast and loose (*cough* KU9 installs). I think you can install outside of SC anyway so it's not that big a deal (to me).

Forgive me, but your choice is a false one and we should never settle for low quality. These are product installs which should not take that long when performed on a fast computer (such as the one I have). The customer should not be made to wait needlessly long to get a correct installation. Something is wasting time during the installation via SC.

Not settling....just saying that the slowness of it was not so slow that I found it annoying. My PC is quite fast as well. I do believe you can install it w/o using SC.
