Service Centre 2 claims activation of Komplete 5 - but hasn't.

Can someone at NI please either respond to tickets (sent three over the past 2 weeks with no response) or post a message here - one or the other, please!

The new Service Center 2 (updated) is claiming to have activated my Komplete 5 on a Macbook Pro and yet when Kontakt 3, Massive or GR3 are run - even as standalones - they all claim to be unactivated and put up the Activate/Demo/Buy dialog.

Running Service Center 2 again invites me to activate Komplete 5 with the serial number again - and so round the loop goes.

Have posted off my Service Centre ZIP file but have heard nothing.

Currently sitting here with unactivated software and am thinking of calling my credit card company..

 

I am experiencing a similar problem - for me Reaktor 5 and Absynth 4 are not reported as activated in Service center, or rather i get the message "all products are activated" but these are not listed in the overview. Did you fix this and if so how? I am a little desperate since this mac is to go on tour soon.

 

I'm having a similar and equally frustrating problem as you 'icarussound'. I have Komplete 3, and reaktor has been activated according to the service center, but like yours mine asks me to activate or use in demo mode every time I try to use it. I've only just installed it yesterday and really need to get it going.

same thing in windows - not activating

Hi everyone.

Iam am having the same issues as some mac users, but in windows.

I install komplete 5, everything runned smooth, i activate it but it seems that actually it does not activate properly since every time I run any of the programs it ask me to activate again. Some of them, like guitar rig even after activating does not allow me to save presets and tell me that I am in demo mode. In Kontact 3, the service center window that pop up ask me to activate kontact 2

And the most annoying it does not seve the presets I am using in the host program (ableton live).

Please help. Those programs arenot specilly cheap and is quite annoying to be bothered with those things after paying such an ammount of money

 

Run all the Komplete apps as standalones and see if they're activated. If they are, trash Live's preferences.cfg and reboot.

Then, start up Live and reset your plugin folder.

Activating = time-wasting

I have installed SC2, a brand new Kontakt 3 as a plug-in for ProTools (LE 7.1 on a PC), followed all [offline] instructions for activation. Activation claims to have taken place successfully - it tells me it has - but then every time I actually use or open the program it is in demo mode and the Activate/Buy window pops up, as with some of these other posters. It operates in a strictly limited fashion as a result (ie almost unusable). It has installed correctly in Protools. I haven't installed the stand-alone version because I don't need it. Can anyone help? Now all this is doing is holding me up from working.

P.S. It would benefit the CUSTOMERS if all you software manufacturers used the same process (eg iLok) for protecting their products, not a whole host of different propriety ones but maybe I'm just a wild optimist.

You need the standalone; the plugin won't initialize correctly without the standalone being installed and run at least once.

p.s. can Kontakt import ufs. sample file libraries? I'd love to be able to import Mach5 libraries as Mach5 is incompatible with ProTools 7.1+ and they are sitting there neglected and sad.
