Session Strings 2 - tuning

Can I change the tuning on session strings instruments to play quarter tones in order to achieve certain arabic/persian scales? I purchased the middle eastern series, I can achieve this in that plugin, I am looking to apply these tunings to the NI plugins. I am using Logic, and in project settings -> Tuning, the changes made there apply to all Logic instruments, however they do not apply to 3rd party plugins.

 

Kontakt doesn't support Logic's tuning options. Your best option is using pitch bend.

Can I pick 2 keys and apply a pitch bend to them? And is it possible to do that so it applies consistently before playing the instrument?

 

No, you would have to draw pitch bend for every note you want to detune. Also, pitch bend is monophonic, so it doesn't work with chordal playing - you can only do it "safely" on monophonic lines. If you play a chord and add pitch bend, it detunes all played notes by the same amount.
