i really love this library... they did an outstanding job putting it together, now if i could just get it to work properly. here is my problem, if i load any more that two or three articulations in sonar, either sonar 4, sonar 6, 32 bit, 64 bit, standalone, it does not matter, it fatally crashes. if it crashed in my host, i have to reboot. now keep in mind, i have computers that the balls of black angus bulls, totally set up for audio/video work. i can load up kontakt 4 to the rim with no problems, but the minute i start using session strings pro the crash comes. i tried the famous "set the latency to 0 in the effect insert" didn't work. i even deleted the convolution effect in the effect insert, it still crashes. when i try to load just a few instruments from this library, it says that my memory is getting low...Low? the resources say i still have 6 gig of memory available! this problem still exists in win xp 32bit but not as bad, windows 7... VERY BAD! it seems as though kontakt 4 does not like the instrument strcture of this, and other libraries. my other libraries load fine, even the free library does fine. this string set does sound very nice, and works great with all kinds of music.... but i need help. ni support ticket, here i come.

    Sonar X1 Crash

    Same deal here.

Sonar X1 Rev C crashes whenever I load Session Strings Pro and try to save. This is the only module with Komplete 8 Ultimate that does this.

    Suggestions, reload, etc?

i had the problem when using sonar 4... its a 32bit program, the memory usage is limited, i downloaded the 4 gb patch and use the and it helped boost the amount of memory i could use, it doesnt seem to crash as bad anymore. if your running sonar x1-32bit version, try it it may help... i don't know. hope you get it taken care of! My issue certainly is not Ram based. I am running 8gb on a Windows 7, Intel I7, 64 bit box.

It does make one wonder why no one else is exhibiting the same behavior.

Does anyone know of a method for reloading only the Session Strings Pro from the Komplete 8 Ultimate external drive?

Maybe the initial install was faulty.

    Regards,
    L.

I had a similar issue with cubase. CPU usage went up to 100% in seconds and made my host crash. A uninstall with new install was the solution for me.
    Good Luck
