Setup problem with d2

I got 2x d2 and I try to connect to Mac air non of the buttons lights on .. just welcome screen Vegas mode maybe ... nothing else working .. anyone any idea? Sorry I am new for this d2

Yes I think maybe not enough power from macbook air to USB. Now I tried with Mac pro and everything working good

I was having a problem with my D2 so, I thought deleting it and re-installing it would fix it so, that is what I did ? I have downloaded the Traktor Zip download to re-install it which ? It said it had done. It still doesn't work and I, can't find the code for the product ? Do I need this code to set it back up ? If so how can I find the code now ?

Appreciate anyone's feedback on this matter,

Don't have the D2, but it should work similarly to the S8.
I never have had to mess with any product code.
Just a thought.. try disabling any sleep options for usb. Not sure if this is an issue or even an option with Mac. Are you on windows?

Usb ports can also have a lot of old data that can be deleted, sometimes that can help with usb problems.

You can delete everything it will automatically detect again the next time you plug in a device.
Look up USBDEVIEW it is a freeware program that can make it easy to see and delete all old drivers. Or start fresh with everything.
This does not delete the data installed by Traktor that is permanent.
I have heard of older computers having issues with too many devices having old data causing issue.

But this might not be your solution.
Oh also Korg has a usb utility for deleting driver data.

This is for Windows, it has a set of tools, you use the uninstall utility to look at old drivers and select options to open up the list for uninstalling.
Granted this is for Korg but an easy way to detect and remove Usb data for everything.
Once installed the list of utilities is in your Start Menu under Korg. I like this one because it is from a trusted site.
