    Hi All,

Just got my hands on traktor scratch pro and currently trying to set it all up but are coming across some real problems and wondering if someone could help me please (im sure we have all been in the same boat).

    1. Traktor has been installed on my Apple MacBook and is working fine and the soundcard is also installed and all drivers installed too.

    2. I have correctly (i think) linked all the cables up correctly but im really not sure at all. I have a pair of Stanton C314's and a Behringer DDM4000 mixer so if someone could explain to me the cable setup correctly, i would be proper appreciative.

    3. The timecode on the program when i play them through my decks dont show as a circle, they are sqaured.

    4. When i go into the Audio setup, i can select the audio soundcard and latency etc but then when i assign the outputs, it still shows as output1 etc...

    5. When i come to control the music via my cd decks, the cue buttons do not take it to the begining of the track or anything at all.

Sorry about so many questions, but anyones help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance :)

Right, finally getting somewhere now i think. Cables are all in correctly which is a bonus and seems to be working OK.

The timecode seems to be working OK now too however, when i press the majority of the buttons on the CDJ's, doesnt really do that much at all, CUE doesnt really cue at all.

Also, when i try and SYNC the tracks together on the laptop, it SYNC's for a minute or even less and then just drops out, Un-SYNC's itself and goes back to its original BPM. Is this normal?

Would i be best purchasing a small MIDI controller too correctly take control of Traktor.

Lastly, i cant even seem to control Traktor via my MacBook, I.E, when the track is loaded, i need to move it on to the first beat however i cannot do this via the laptop, it will only allow me to do it via the CDJ's and when i do that, it skips and 9/10 the first beat will be missed.

Has anyone else come across these problems?
