Several Sort Criteria

what would be really cool is if one could use several sort criteria, like for example being able to sort tracks first by key and then by bpm ... so one could narrow down tracks which go well together faster

i could use this almost all the time ... this could be implemented maybe with a modifier (ctrl/cmd) click on the second search criteria

not sure if i'm explaining this well enough

 

I've requested this earlier and they have confirmed that they are looking at various options for refining the search functions.

i'm currently sorting a huge track collection to make some playlists/sets and could well do with some more powerful search options.

it would be cool to be able to do a search like this:

find all tracks of type disco released between 1975 and 1983 that are between 114 and 125bpm and are in a minor key

 

yup, it seems like the obvious direction in which traktor must go.

 

Yeah this would great for me +1 would love to be able sort by genre and key or norm and key as I play set builds from 120 - 175 bpm tracks

 

we've already got a way of doing this, though with a third party program: http://www.tspotter.net/

quite handy if you're willing to delve into it
