    Hi everyone,
I've had my s2 a little over a month and been verygentle with it. Today I noticed that the top layer of the right shift button is coming away I guess its the sticker that says shift so if it keeps peeling away will I have a blank button? Is this a common fault? Should I return it to the shop I bought it from? Is this kind've thing covered in warranty?

To some this may seem like a minor issue but its really annoyed me. I keep all my gear in mint conition, in cases, i never hammer buttons, never scratch anything etc. and if its peeling through no fault of my own after a month what will the buttons be like in a year.

Im really quite disappointed as Ive been gentle with it, Ive had numark and vestax mixers in the passed and after years they still look like new.
    What should I do?

    Thank you,

I noticed that the buttons were painted. No way around it, it will degrade over time. I feel you though, I have OCD over stuff like that too.

1st I've heard of it. I would go for the warranty option if I were you.

NI are arranging to swap the defected unit....great customer service and in turn makes me more inclined to buy more from them in the future
