shortcut for transposing key an octave

hey guys, i can't find the keyboard shortcut in the software to transpose a note an octave... didn't see one in the manual so maybe there's not one?

 

On Maschine Studio I believe it is either holding down note button+the mod wheel, or holding down note button+shift+mod wheel. One of those moves the note a semitone, the other moves it an octave.

Also make sure that you are in keyboard mode for this to work.

 

Off the top of my head, I think there is only a way to nudge by grid and transpose by semitones from a computer QWERTY (or equivalent) keyboard. Alt+arrows achieves those things, but I think shifting by octave is one of those things you'd expect to have a shortcut but doesn't.

 

there was one on Mk1 ... and its missing now , obviously

 

thanks man, i'm sorry i meant on my actual keyboard, like for the software... my hardware would be my keyboard on my computer etc
