should i buy scratch if i have pro 2?

i understand either or will update to 2.5, but if i have pro 2 i need to use a demo to read my timecode. will 2.5 read timecodes? if i buy scratch now am i wasting my money?

this is the wrong version it only upgrades old tsp to tsp 2
and yes you will need to buy scratch version (either with a new sound card or maybe the S4 upgrade kit )

you need a scratch license so if you only have TP2 then you need a scratch upgrade to make it TSP2...!
you can buy it from NI's website and download it straight away..!

 

you already paid for the audio interface, that's why you can upgrade for a pretty low price compared to someone who only has traktor pro 2 without audio interface.
