Surely beta testers suggest ideas such as this?
Is it allowed to comment more than once in these threads? After working with Maschine now for a couple months, learning workarounds and just getting to know it a little better (admittedly a long way to go) this one issue is certainly a bummer. Having to stop making music EVERY time I switch to a different pattern is a royal PITA. Usually affects me most when I have something cool built up, and am switching between scenes and patterns to fine tune velocities, an errant note here, a note length there, or have an overview on automation ... sadly looks like the new "features" of 2.8 do not include most of the things on the feature requests lists. Thanks NI!
Yes, plenty of suggestions there, for whatever it's worth....
Yes, comment as many times as you want as long as it's not spammy.
Can't believe you can't do this. Was trying to figure out how to set this earlier and just discovered I can't. Urgh.
Also for the Arranger view!!
+1, this should have been a no brainer from the start.
Yes, I also want such an automatic zoom function.

Is there a sollution to this problem already? I hate it when I want to start a new song and first have to drag the bar all the way to the right so that the full pattern is visible. Takes some spirit out of the momentum...
I guess this would be easily fixable
This still annoy's the heck out of me daily.
This would be a really big deal as a quality-of-life improvement in terms of UX. It's the little things!
So yeah, I’ve encountered this annoyance when building my set. When I am working on scene or pattern, I will zoom out completely and then when I go to another pattern and back to the previous one, the zoom view will be restored to default and I have to un-zoomit manually again! So annoying... +1 from me on this as well.
Some sort of global config option “Save default pattern/scene zoom view” would do...
When adding bars to an existing pattern, the new bars are added outside of the grid view! Such a hassle to keep resizing that grid each and every time! Maybe a plugin could fix this?
Me too. Starting to record in the wrong part of a sequence is Just an annoyance when in the studio, not at all acceptable when playing live. I need some way to see where I am in the current (focused) pattern without touching the PC.
