Same as my setup bro! The Cheapo CMD PL1s make for easily available Effects. Space is the only problem. I believe this rig may just squeeze into a Pioneer DDJ-SZ flightcase - with some mods to the inside foam.

Cool set up. I too have the CDJ2000nexus. Thinking of trading for S8. How do the S8 screens compare to NXS in terms of size and clarity? Are they much smaller?

 

Just wondering what you used to raise the S8 to the level of your CDJs?

Hello! This is my Kontrol S8 with 2 turntables...
Hi! I've done these videos, basically for that indecisive people who don't know clearly what is the Kontrol S8 response to the scratching. I have received several e-mails from my youtube channel and djloomy.com, with questions about the ability of the Traktor Kontrol S8 to scratch, the feel, the cut, latency, construction, etc.

The Traktor Kontrol S8 has curve adjustments, the faders curves (soft) and cross-fader (knob), being perfectly usable for scratch session or advanced scratching, the crossfader is very soft and light.
The latency is minimal, these videos has been made with Kontrol S8 latency ajdusted to 128 (2,7ms-2.0 ms) 2.8.1.

Traktor Kontrol S8 Construction is really robust, quickly giving that sense of "Pro gear" as you put hands on it.
