A little assistance, please. When I create a new multi, I save it, but it doesn't show up in the browser until after I do a database rebuild. And that takes way longer than I'd like it to take. Is this the way it's supposed to work, or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks much; it worked perfectly just as you mentioned. I tried looking at the pdf manual provided and could find precious little on multis; there is some info, but not what I needed to know. Is this an RTFM moment for me? If not, could you mention where you found this?

PS: Happy dx'ing and good luck in the VHF contest this coming weekend.

Sorry but I don't know what an RTFM moment means but the information is not in the book. The same requirement of rebooting is the same for all the things you change in K2 from modifying an instrument name to creating new instruments. Nothing shows in the browser till you re-boot.

Using rescan shows the new files in the browser,no need to re-boot.
