I would really like to use Guitar Rig Player (free version) with Sibelius notation software to play back music I've written with more realistic sounds than what Sibelius offers. Does anyone know if this is possible?? If so, what do I need to do from a technical standpoint? Thanks in advance for your help.

If your Sibelius version supports VST plugins you might be able to add Guitar Rig Player as effect inside Sibelius.

Here's a general example of using third-party plugins like the free Kontakt Player in Sibelius: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpJSpNiASpo
Keep in mind though that (in contrast to the Kontakt Player) Guitar Rig Player is basically just an effects plugin and therefore cannot generate sound from the MIDI notation on its own.

You should find additional info in the Sibelius manual or by doing a websearch for something like "Sibelius effects", "Sibelius third-party plugins", etc ...
